A Mile in the Snow

Saturday, there was a status comment from the photographer who does the DSAT calendar. She wanted locals to submit a self-portrait in the snow for a contest to win a $200 photo shoot in the spring.

1) I don't do self portraits.

2) I haven't tried the new camera on the tripod.

3) Never tried the tripod in the snow.

So, I left a comment asking if the subject had to be one's self. Could it be the child of one's self? Jill said yes.

After I dressed and got the child dressed to go outside in several inches of snow, we went outside in the back yard. I'm not a snow bunny and neither is Aiden.

While we were out there.....
